Hi friends!

Today I will talk to you about an expert on my field that I admire. His name is Juan Enrique Opazo. He is an assistant professor in the Sociology Department of the Universidad de Chile and he is the current chief  of the career. Professor Opazo studied Sociology in Universidad de Chile, and he received the highest honor. He is  graduate in Social Planning ,ILPES/CEPAL – SUR professionals. In addition, Juan Enrique Opazo is doctor in Sociology from Universidad Alberto Hurtado.

He has worked in different parts: He was assistant and consultant of the PNUD Chile, where he participated in the Reports of Human Development 1996 and 1998. Also he was an appraiser and consultant for different agencies, like Undersecretariat of Regional Development, Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Education, National Council of Education, in Chile.

Also he was an international member of the UN. He worked in a lot of international organizations, where he specialized in  methodology of investigation. He was in different organizations:  United Nations Operations Programme, UNESCO, PNUD, UNICEF, World Bank, etc.

I really like the class of this professor. I ´ve had two courses with him: Introduction to sociology and Epistemology. Opazo is a teacher that motivates all of the class. He really wants that his students learn.
